Who we're forced to represent
Worse than Poppa President
Is this what they call government?

I didn't vote for you...
I didn't vote for me either...
I didn't vote... again!

Can't you see the state you're in
We're all Puppet Citizens
Just look at this state we're in

Lots of Puppets on the left...
Far too many on the right...
So many Puppets... Lose their heads!

There's more and more strings attached...
You can bet they'll be jerking like mad...
We could do with...
Far less jerks!

Hey fellow Puppet Citizen
Let us change this state we're in
We can all begin again
As Universal Citizens!

There's more to life than Punch and Judy's
Let's go somewhere else tonight
Or stay at home so unlike the movies
Let's leave behind this stage of our lives

I want to be a real citizen...
I won't expect a lot of benefits...
A Puppet's just no way to live...
If we all shove something's gotta give!
